Merseyside Expanding Horizons will be working in partnership with Festival 31

Festival 31 is Liverpool’s leading refugee art and culture festival. Held over the 31 days the festival takes its name from Festival 31 runs form the 20th of June to the 21st of July. The festival is a celebration of art and creativity commissioning musicians, writers, film makers and visual artist form both refugee and non-refugee community. Last year they worked with over 37 partners to deliver 45 events in 24 venues over the city. From drum circles to hand carved installation art, workshops street theatre the festival is a diverse mixing pot for the imagination giving the artists the freedom to explore and hold truly unique experiences. Festival 31 is the perfect place to raise awareness of the Casebook project and we are delighted to be part of the festival this year holding a number of exciting events held by MEH.

Information Meeting was organized with career counsellors by Mozaik in Turkey

An information meeting was held on 12th of April at Public Education Centre to check the final points for piloting process with career counsellor who will be involved in the process. The meeting gathered the career counsellors and social workers The topics covered at the meeting included the activities undertaken CASEBOOK process, ongoing processes, potential obstacles and future steps. The staff of Casebook project, Omer Düzgün provided necessary information in the framework of project to make the process easier and participants addressed question and shared their recommendations. At the final part of meeting the participants confirmed the importance and effectiveness of the meeting for their role in the further process.
